My technique to avoid becoming too stressed is to make sure I still have some (ME) time. I like to watch the soaps or at least one of them each night. That's when i can wind down from the day.

I also believe that some form of enjoyable exercise is essential, and I prefer to take my dog a walk at night time. I find the peace and quiet relaxing and have time to think things through which may have been bothering me throughout the day.

My final method is trying my best to go to the library after my college class is over, and get as much homework done as possible. This is because I can't get a minutes peace at home.

Going back to a house with my mum, dad, sister, brother, 2 year old nephew and 2 mental dogs running around, I can't concentrate and end up packing my books away after 10 minutes. In the library, it is peaceful, and everyone around you is trying to study too, therefore it is much easier to get your head down.
